For those who love learning about our region’s past, its culture, and unique borderland heritage, the Museum of South Texas History offers a beautiful facility with state-of-the-art exhibitions, fascinating programs, fun events and more.
For those who want to take the next step, participating as a volunteer, the Museum offers a variety of opportunities to get involved and share your interests, talents, & knowledge with others.
FRIENDship does make a difference at MOSTH…a big difference! The Board of Trustees and staff are deeply grateful to the FRIENDS of the Museum for their annual support, participation, and advocacy in the regional community and beyond for preserving and presenting the borderland heritage of South Texas and Northeastern Mexico
Upon becoming a FRIEND or renewing your FRIENDship, you will be extended the following benefits for one year from the month you join or renew:
- Free Admission to the Museum
- 10% discount on purchases in the Museum Store (some restrictions apply)
- Subscription to Borderlines, the Museum’s newsletter
- Your name listed with FRIENDS in Borderlines
- Invitations to Museum events; some events are exclusively for FRIENDS
- Specially priced tickets/fees for certain Museum events & classes
- An Annual Report
- Your name listed in the Annual Report
Those who choose to become FRIENDS at the Contributor level ($100) or above, are also extended a 10% discount on facilities rental base fees.
Heritage Associate FRIENDships are the four upper levels of membership and begin at the Heritage Associate Contributor level ($1,000).
If you are interested in becoming a new FRIEND or renewing your FRIENDship, fill out and mail the
FRIENDship form. with a check, or fax with a credit card number.
