Going to Texas: Special Map Exhibit Opens September 10th
South Texans will have the opportunity to view the geographical progression of Texas’ “coming out,” through a collection of 64 Texas maps that date from 1548 to 2006 and depict the geographical, agricultural, population and border changes that Texas has undergone. The exhibit is a collaboration with TCU’s Center for Texas Studies in Fort Worth and the Museum of the Big Bend at Sul Ross State University in Alpine.
