Spring Break Excursion: Storytelling, Artifacts & Crafts

March 15, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

You don’t have to travel far away to enjoy a fun Spring Break. MOSTHistory is right here and will host Spring Break Excursion: Storytelling, Artifacts & Crafts, at 1 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, March 12-March 15. Children with a parent can enjoy hearing a story followed by a Discovery Moment in one of the museum’s world-class galleries. Then, off to the Grand Lobby to try a hand at creating a craft relating to the story. An optional self-guided Exploration Game will be available for each child and parent to enjoy at their own pace.

On Friday, parents and children will enjoy story time featuring “Why Cowboys Need a Pardner” by Laurie Knowlton, followed by an activity. Children will find a partner then create a branding iron and participate in a “roundup.”

Participating in a Spring Break Excursion: Storytelling, Artifacts & Crafts is time well spent with your child. You both have fun while learning, too! This opportunity is created and presented by education officers Maria Rodriguez and Joe Fox.

This activity is free with admission. Since space is limited, please call 956-383-6911 to reserve a place. You can also register and purchase admission in advance: https://conta.cc/2ToLnu5. For any other questions or concerns, please contact the museum at 956-383-6911 or email mrodriguez@mosthistory.org.
