Summer Nights showcasing the Rio Grande Valley highlights the history of the four counties that make up this region. Each night will focus on a specific county, sharing the historical events and people through hands-on activities and puppet shows. Historical events include transporting cotton on steamboats along the Rio Grande and connecting the Valley to the rest of the United States via the railroad.
